I was born in a village called Varenikovskaya, on the shore of the Kuban River. Shortly after my graduation from school, on the 30th of June 1967 I came outside of my house to say goodbye to my beloved village. I was about to leave this place once and forever the next morning. It was around 10 pm, when the sun was setting, that I saw the rising moon. It was not an ordinary moon. As I watched it rise slowly above the horizon, I caught a feeling of divine happiness that I have never felt before. I realized it was not a moon, but a sphere about a kilometer in diameter. It was slowly moving towards me and I could take a closer look at its surface. The shining silver appearance of the sphere was full of moving and changing patterns. I felt no fear. At the same time I was conscious of witnessing an unforgettable event. The sphere passed above me and disappeared over the horizon. I gazed around in a search of other beholders. Nobody was around…
The next morning, when I headed to Krasnodar, every attempt to share my experience was met with laughter and disbelief. Eventually, I gave up on my attempts and kept silent until 1983. That autumn, memory of miraculous event started to follow me around every day. I felt the need to visit Marinskaya village, not far from Krasnodar. In my head, I saw a particular place where I should go. So I took a bus to Marinskaya village and went away from to road for about 1.5 kilometers, towards the meadow. The spot I was looking for was full of wild plants: stipa, theme etc. The sun was setting. At this moment, the feeling of divine happiness hit me again, just like it did in 1967. By unknown divinity, I received a command to return here the next day. As I was moving towards the spot the next evening, I saw a hemisphere of two meters high. The edges of it were blurred and prominences were extending from the sides, creating silhouettes of people of about half a meter high. The silhouettes were constantly moving, but still connected to the main hemisphere by fine wires. I had a feeling of happiness of the long-awaited meeting. I was staring at the hemisphere from far, as I knew I couldn’t come close. In my head, I heard a question: ‘Are you ready to exchange information?’ As I agreed, an invisible flat disk entered my head from the right side. There was no pain, no fear. The disk was rather a bundle of energy, than a real, physical object. Once inside, it started to whirl rapidly. I knew the exchange was in process. Something was taken from me, and something was given to me. After 10 minutes, the disk stopped and came out of my head the same way as it entered. I realized it was time to say goodbye. The hemisphere disappeared after 5 minutes. When I reached the spot where the hemisphere used to be, I found a few ordinary rusty metal objects. Among it was an old bicycle wheel that I decided to take the wheel with me as a souvenir. As I touched it, the wheel started to stretch, like it was made of rubber. I realized it should be left in the meadow. Upon my return to Krasnodar, any attempts to talk about it ware met with advises to visit a psychiatrist. Such reaction was no surprise so I decided to tell my story using the language of art. I began to work on a series of paintings under the name “Unidentified Flying Objects’. The miraculous event that happened to me was illustrated through the prism of humor and laughter. After the exchange of information with the hemisphere, I realized that I know things that I had no idea about before. For example, I knew the aircraft scheme that does not need an engine. I started to create and illustrate energy. The wheel became a central object to the theme as well as other metal objects left in the meadow. Surprisingly, the public accepted my UFO series. Moreover, some people started to believe in my story. At least, less people were willing to call a psychiatrist after hearing my story. After a while, the series changed its name to ‘Marapacuci’. I continue to explore the theme of Marapacuci as by working on it, I still feel direct contact with the sphere and its energy. S.Vorzhev.
