This belongs to a series of floral artworks completed this year inspired by spring blooms. Each butterfly is a unique floral image and the antennae are tipped with 24crt gold leaf and really glisten beautifully in the sunlight. The butterflies are hand cut and mounted on tiny wooden plinths to give the illusion of floating and casting a shadow underneath. It comes fitted in a solid wooden white box frame.
