In early spring I've seen and photographed a similar scene during a walk with my Border Collie companion called Max. The sky was still fairly bright and the moon was already shining upon us while, the new flowers on the tree, were rejoicing the early days of the year.
The painting does have many aspects. It is versatile because in different light you'll see somewhat different painting. For example the frontal view shows a whitish moon which can have a silverish shimmer, or even - seen from the side - go into slight purplish glow.
The same can be said about the sky, which materializes itself somewhere between light and darker blue shades, but viewing the painting from different angles, it shows itself in lustrous bluish-silver which changes sometimes into very light purplish, shiny blue.
Through its luminosity, and depending how its catches the light, the painting is continuously changing in altering lighting. This gives the artwork movement and variation in different lights. Using one word to describe this painting, it would be: Opalescent.
Some of my photographs try to show you the all aspects of the painting; however, it is not easy to capture all the facets of the artwork in just few images.
The high quality canvas is professional stretched, medium grain linen, and it's primed five times. Painted with high quality, professional grade acrylics and varnished three times to protect the artwork.
