Original artwork description:

Flora was the Roman goddess who made trees and plants bloom. Perhaps originally it was one with the goddess Feronia, but her cult was more widespread and she was entitled to a flamine, which was instead denied to Feronia, a more local deity. Flora's temple was located near the Circus Maximus. Responsible for the awakening of nature in the spring, Flora was considered a fertilizing divinity who was given the power to make sterile women fruitful.

This painting will look absolutely stunning in a minimalistic or contemporary setting and is a perfect decorative element for someone who loves the classical world. It radiates elegance and rigor.

This painting was painted in the month of May 2020 and was painted with mineral pigments that I prepare in the studio. I personally stretched and and primed the 100% cotton canvas with Bologna gesso and tempera.

SIZE: 49 X 44 cm. / 19.3 x 17.3 in.
MEDIUM: Natural Italian mineral pigment on finely prepared cotton canvas International express shipping from Italy.
THE SOLID OAK FRAME is available and the additional cost is €500.
