Original artwork description:

FLOOD THE FACTORIES WITH FLOWERS!

My take on 'the World' tarot card, completed in acrylic and ink.

Biodiversity is key, whether it be a couple of pots on your kitchen windowsill or a 1000 hectare farm, the more species of plant the better. More plants bring more insects. which then bring birds and amphibians that eat those insects which then brings animals that predate on them, ad infinitum!

So trade that 'quality product' you were going to order for next day delivery for a fistful of seeds and dirt.

You don't need to neatly plant one flower in each pot, mix them up! Stick some sweetpeas in with your sunflowers, some clover with your camellias, fix that nitrogen and you'll turn dirt to soil in no time. You'll capture carbon at the same time as creating homes for friendly millipedes and pest-busting parasitic wasps. Soon you'll be inundated with wildlife, like a disney princess without the questionable business behind you.

Materials used:

Acrylic and ink on paper
