Original artwork description:
A lyrical painting I made last summer. I saw a man fishing from a small rowing boat somewhere near Aviemore in the Scottish highlands.
It’s painted in layers and dabs of paint on an open weave linen canvas which creates a poetic summertime atmosphere. In some areas the natural colour of the canvas is visible.
The water on the river is sparkling and the reeds are waving around in a breeze.
It’s square and although it’s not framed, it will look absolutely perfect hung as a canvas.
