My city is situated on the banks of the Kaveri and I visited this particular spot while deciding to paint outdoors. Except for the soft splashing sound made by the coracle, a small round boat, the place was very quiet. The red shirt of the fisherman and the ripples on the water were very attractive and made the scene very interesting to paint.
