Artist's description:

A large aluminium print in a unique 'virtual' frame designed by the artist.

The virtual framing concept looks exactly as it appears in the listing photographs - including the 'reflections' and the 'shadows'. The image and its designer frame are a single sheet of aluminium and each the frame is unique to this image.

The whole image (including the virtual frame) is printed directly onto a sheet of 3mm thick aluminum using Epson's K3 archival pigment inks. The ink is bonded onto the metal. There is no paper involved. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet and it's sleek, contemporary lines give an added depth to this stunning image.

The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. This frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall and arrives 'ready-to-hang' with mounting hooks and screws.

Aluminium prints are extremely durable. They're lightweight. They won't bend, and they're water resistant!

'Fish Can' is a factory-fresh fish supper for the digital age which took nearly twenty years to prepare.

The picture of the sardine can was taken on good, old-fashioned film in the UK in the early nineties and the rather sad looking fish was 'captured' digitally in Thailand in 2011.

The two images were happily married in a computer in the same year and are still together.

Ships worldwide and arrives ready-to-hang.
