Artist's description:

My favourite view in the world. Just at the end of the lane next to my son's school in Cornwall. Every day I walk past the gap in the hedge that suddenly opens up to reveal this view, with trees, sweeping hills, fields of different crops, hedges and houses. It is a gorgeous view any time of the year and I constantly return to it to capture it in every season and all weathers. It is ever changing but always inspiring. In this particular painting it was late summer, early autumn and the sun was already lower in the sky. there was a fantastic light over the fields that I tried to capture. I painted it in Daniel Smith Artist quality watercolours on cold pressed paper. The image is 40cm(w) x 32cm (h)
