Artist's description:

This painting is the second in my original series of equilateral triangle canvases. I prepped the canvas with a very thin layer of gesso and sand giving the canvas a sandpaper feel.
Designed with the fibonacci series and spirals as related to triangles, this painting is riddled with feng sui harmonies. The patchwork appearance was not intentional, but has the added effect of differentiating the 8 layers of paint used to make this painting visually stunning. Titled in tribute to Pythagoras, Euclid, and Fibonacci series.
WHIMSICAL BONUS: Canvas size intentionally designed; frontage area equal to the square root of three (3) square feet.

Shhh... if you look @ all six pictures, you'll realize its a different painting every way you hang it!

Materials used:

gesso, acrylic, sand
