Family Outing is inspired by a childhood memory of going to Moonlight Beach in Southern California with my family when I was a girl and always having to stop and pose for my avid photographer dad to take a picture. The warm golden tones hint at the way good memories seem to get better over time, but seem a little fuzzy around the edges.
