Original oil painting depicting a torn parcel of painting leaning against a wall. The painting inside the parcel partly reveals an image of a pheasant shooting scene.
On the tiled floor is a scattering of feathers from one unlucky pheasant.
I live close to a country estate that specialises in game shooting (pheasants and grouse) and we see many young pheasants reared for shooting. They are beautiful birds and I always will them to escape the guns and live another day!!
This is quite a large oil painting on a deep sided box canvas - framing is not necessary as it is fully painted around all four edges. It is strung ready for immediate hanging. The size is 100cm x 80cm x 3.5cm.
I am a very careful packer and for transport it will be double bubble wrapped and packed between sheets of plywood with the corners and sides further protected. The whole package will then be wrapped in stout brown paper.
