Contemporary Fabric Fairy Sculpture for Home or Garden.

This Guardian Angel is one of my fabric sculptures, she is specially finished to survive the elements outside all year round. She can withstand rain, ice and frost (but please don't let her get too wet in a puddle). Or perhaps because she is so lovely you can just keep her indoors. Quite at home in any room.

She is made cotton fabric immersed in special fabric hardeners, which makes the fabric very strong and hard to the touch - yet surprisingly lightweight.

I have mounted her onto a piece of slate to ensure she will not fall over if you choose to place her out in the garden.

I chose to make her in a bronze distress effect,. She has been varnished in three separate layers to protect her for outdoors.

Care: Washable in cold water, they can be swished about to remove dust and allowed to drip dry.
An annual spray of fine varnish is advised if placed outside keep her pristine.
