Artist's description:

Turkey. Travel 2010 in Cappadocia.

Cappadocia, a dreamy slice of central Turkey dotted with 'fairy chimneys' (rock formations), has a history every bit as remarkable as its landscape. Volcanic eruptions created this surreal moonscape: the lava flows formed tuff rock, which wind and rain sculpted into sinuous valleys with curvy cliff faces and pointy fairy chimneys.
The historical name of the area in the east of Asia Minor in modern Turkey (part of the land provinces of Nevsehir, Kayseri, Aksaray and Nigde) is used since antiquity to the present day. Characterized by an extremely interesting landscape of volcanic origin, underground cities, created in 1st thousand BC and extensive cave monasteries, leading its history since the days of the early Christians. Göreme National Park and Cappadocia cave settlements are included in UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the most interesting areas of Cappadocia is the area of the village of Cavusin, near which there are a large number of cave dwellings in the rock churches and monasteries 5 - 10 centuries AD and beautiful rock formations.

The photography is my positive way of writing about the amazing things in life.
His demeanor is a mixture of wonder and respect. He longs to nostalgically stop track of time in picture form. He longs to capture humanity and its awesome evanescence.
Through his immensurable trips to Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia, he has satisfied his curiosity of the diverse cultural values found in different continents.
