Original artwork description:

Inspired by building facades this is part of a new series exploring the rhythm of colours and architectural elements found in urban environments. I have always been fascinated by the glass and metal patterns and fenestrations on modern buildings. Often only seen from afar, these elements tower over us when driving or walking down streets. Using real and imagined buildings as inspiration I use cut paper and other materials that are layered and glued onto aluminium panels to form depth and texture. This is framed and ready to hang supplied with D rings.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Materials used:

Hand cut paper, layered and mounted on aluminium panel. Mounted with a front and back mount in acid free mounting board. Framed in a black stained wooden frame with clear acrylic front.
