Prineville, Oregon sits in a valley carved by an ancient glacier. To enter the town, you drive down a long winding road carved out of the walls of the valley. There are several curves in the road where you look down over the whole town and see an almost idyllic view like something out of a movie. Nestled in the center of town is this quaint little park with a nostalgic Tastee Treat across the street. My sister and I enjoyed many afternoons over lunch there and my favorite thing was their perfect banana splits. The building here is the Tastee Treat minus its sign, which made a distraction from the simplicity I was aiming for. Painted on a canvas only 4" x 4", the sign would have looked sloppy so I left it out.
