Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

"Writhing in the sensuality of the colours of Autumn." I can't get enough of the colours this technique throws up. The broad, eye-catching splashes of colour can be planned and are certainly very seductive but it's the more subtle tones produced by the delicate overlaying that pull me in. Hair can have a million shades and the closer you look, the more that are revealed.

One of a series of female nudes based loosely on the concept of Eve and apples. A full-colour monotype, a unique artwork using a technique beloved by the Impressionists, especially Degas and Monet.

Materials used:

Oil-based litho / relief pigment onto BFK Rives cotton-rag paper
