Artist's description:

4' x 4' Acrylic on Canvas

September 2016 – Late night painting in the midst of anger and turmoil after receiving yet more disparaging news. It represents the anguish and needless time spent on futile efforts to resolve matters that can’t be controlled. Completed in state of anxiety and rage. The painting features two self-silhouettes surrounded by falling clock parts. My body is poked and prodded with various sharp angled spears as I try to regain a sense of calm. Reds turn to pink and radiate off the shoulders from the silhouette featured on the left side of the canvas as one hand is clenched in a fist while the left hand raises to the sky. Silhouette on the right still in pain as I pull my hair in frustration.
