Artist's description:

Vibrant & expressive abstract painting with gesture, speckles & busy brushstrokes.

Light and cool piece with a warm plum base colour overlaid with fresh minty turquoise green and expressive brushstrokes (rose pink, purple-blue & mint green). My camera has struggled to pick up the colours of this piece, it either over accentuates them or washes them out.
Emma Lou is a study piece (a rough sketch to try out colours) painted in acrylic gouache on a plyboard panel, sealed with a layer of matte varnish. The edges are neatly painted to match the front of the painting, although I feel this piece would really benefit from framing as you can see where the ply has splintered a little as it's been cut (on the top right hand side - see photo 6). I didn't spend much time prepping the board as the painting was only meant to be a rough test. Priced to reflect this.

If you're on a budget then I can recommend e-frame (UK) who make bespoke frames a bit like the ones you'd find in the supermarket and then post them to your home for you to fit yourself.

The painting is strung to the back with piture cord, ready to hang as is, if preferred. Signed and dated on the back.
