I draw inspiration from nature's elements, pattern, rhythm, and sound while doing landscape planting and design. As I am learning Indian classical music, I see some influence of musical notes in my work.

I approach my art practice as a poetic/ meditative process as I apply quick, spontaneous marks with slow, meditative breaths to create images that evoke a sense of dynamic calm.

Lively color washes, harmonious lines, shapes, and marks blend in abstract layers of movement suggests my interest and experience in the connection of human evolution with migration and the earth's transformation.

I am hoping such imagery merges inner peace and outer expression to inspire a sense of meditative calm in our noisy world.
