Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

I'm still dreaming of the elephant festival! For this drawing, I wanted to do a close-up of an elephant's face. I love those sweet eyes! I once saw a film about blind people touching an elephant's body, feeling its leathery hide/skin, ears, etc. The elephants just stood there while these humans quietly and softly touched them. It was an unforgettable experience for me to watch and, I'm guessing, for them as well!

So, I drew this one onto linoleum, cut it out, and printed it onto Strathmore 500 paper. I can't get the Italian Fabriano paper, but I really like this new printing paper. It's strong and holds up well to the oil-based ink!
