Original artwork description:

The occasion for the image came with the reporting from the attack of 07 June 2003 to the ISAF-Bundeswehrbusin Kabul . In him were German soldiers. They wanted to return to Germany to fly to their families.
All of a sudden I realized: German soldiers are at war. This hardly seemed to be interested in someone. German soldiers lost their lives in this mission. An application, which should be a relief mission yet.

Materials used:

Canvas, Oil-, Acrylic- and Fluoreszentcolours, Flag with embroidered crosses
