I painted this cactus especially for the exhibition of botanical art «Interesting cactus», organized by Association for the promotion of culture and art “Union of Art” and Korean Botanical Arts Cooperative, which took place in The Botanic Gardens of Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. This painting participated in the exhibition from December 1st, 2021 to January 31, 2022.

Later this artwork participated in another exhibition «Interesting cactus», also organized by Association for the promotion of culture and art “Union of Art” and Korean Botanical Arts Cooperative, which took place in the art gallery of Nikitskiy Botanic Gardens in Crimea, 28/03/2022-25/04/2022

Echinopsis subdenudata (commonly called domino cactus, night blooming hedgehog, Easter lily cactus) is a species of cactus with big beautiful flowers.

This detailed realistic illustration is an original one of a kind hand drawn artwork. It was done with lightfast professional watercolors on archival acid free watercolor paper (extra white hot pressed Saunders Waterford 300 gsm)

Painting is ideal for a home decor or it will be a perfect gift to botanical art lovers.

It will be packaged carefully to ensure a safe shipping. It is sent to you in a plastic sleeve and shipped flat inside a sturdy cardboard envelope. It will be shipped by standard mail. Other options of shipping is also possible but it will be more expensive.
