This is a chine colle linocut. I made images, carved them out, painted them, and put them together on a printed backdrop. It's such a fun process. I love carving out the images. And I love collaging images together! In this image, I kept adding elements to this little tableau (more flowers, a butterfly) until it felt real and the flowers looked like they were sitting on my dining room table!
Materials used:
linoleum and carving tools, printing paper and ink, watercolor and gouache, 3M adhesive spray
