• Artwork description

  This is a plein air painting. I painted it on location at Sloan's lake in Denver, Colorado. The weather is getting warmer but there is still ice on the lake and a beautiful sunlit glow in the early morning. The trees are just budding and calm and serene feeling of early morning is there.
