Original artwork description:

This Watercolour Pencil and Graphite on Paper drawing of Taipei City was done from the balcony of my flat in Taipei City, Taiwan in 2005. I have used this medium to allow a faster and more Impressionistic style of capturing the image of the early evening lights and their effect on the colours of the many buildings in this densely populated city. This highly detailed drawing was done over numerous sessions drawn between 7-11 p.m. on different nights and I overlaid layers of colours to try to capture the unique look of the early evening lights illuminating the many small alleys and streets of the city. I like the elevated viewpoint and intentionally left the bottom right hand corner without colour and a border around the picture to show the original paper and drawing.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
