Artist's description:

Original painting of an Golden Eagle soaring over the British countryside. This painting came to me as a dream during a turning point in my life... I was sat in a meadow, surrounded by tall spiky grasses and scented poppy flowers, when suddenly I watched the majestic eagle taking off into flight. It circled high on the warm currents of the Summer breeze until it rose and vanished out of sight. I dream in colour, but as my dream symbolised a spiritual shift, I needed it channelled on canvas as simply black and white. Sadly Golden Eagles were once common across Great Britain but disappeared from Wales and England in the mid 19th century, from persecution. They can still be found in Scotland.

My paintings are inspired from my childhood, nature, flowers, bird watching, long walks, the changing seasons, exploring forests, gazing at the stars, climbing mountains, meditating, swimming in the sea and lazy days in wild meadows

Paintings are created with love, using a variety of mixed media, acrylics, oils, inks and textural pastes. I adore creating tactile paintings which are begging to be touched. It’s a delight working on a blank canvas seeing my painting emerge from the raw to the organic state.

Each painting is professionally wrapped and secured in a custom made box. I have a courier at my studio daily so I can ensure your painting is sent out swiftly. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to purchase a commission painting
