‘Each New Day' is a unique original blue jay painting created by artist Sian Storey, and part of an ongoing series of paintings inspired by the beauty of birds. This particular piece celebrates the loyalty of the blue jay bird.

A rectangular canvas sized at 90 x 100 cm and 4 cm depth, Sian used acrylic and spray paint to create this vibrant and beautiful painting. The harmonious colours of duck egg, vivid teal and rich violet provide a backdrop to the peaceful birds.

There are flashes of hot pink paint that dance amongst the trees and flowers in this painting.

The painting is signed by the artist Sian Storey on the front and reverse, and will be a stunning addition to your home.

‘Each New Day' was painted in Sian Storey’s studio in leafy Hampshire during autumn 2018. Sian paints in layers, giving the painting a sense of depth. Using acrylics and spray paint, you'll see detailed, delicate brushwork and beautiful mists of spray paint. You’ll also see thick paint work where the paint has been applied using card onto the canvas.
