A recent stay in the Ardenne brought walks along poppy lined Belgium tracks and open fields. It was impossible not to return to these words of Wilfred Owen, a poem that saw the release of his torments in the trenches while recovering at Craiglockhart. A great war poet was born and his verses seem only to echo louder with each passing year.
