Artist's description:

I have spent many happy hours in Cornwall and Penzance in particular. The dry dock was usually a hive of activity and there always seemed to be another boat being worked on. Penzance has a long and proud history of fishing and boat building. It always amazed me how they managed to navigate the boats into the dock, as the boats looked bigger than the dock itself!
I have tried to recreate the colours as they were but have painted in a free and impressionistic style. I hope this painting has captured the spirit of Cornwall and will appeal to art lovers, Cornish holiday makers and residents alike. Thank you for looking.
