Artist's description:

If there was one thing I couldn't get used to, it was the electric poles in our urban landscapes. They add to the construction chaos an additional disarray that just feels depressing.

I always wondered how drunk I had to be to accept them to the point that I wouldn’t notice them anymore. I found out that I could never drink that much.

So I thought what if I use a glass of bourbon and make THEM drunk instead?

I took a photograph from a glass filled with a triple shot; I photographed the poles and overlaid them to the bourbon glass. The combination of a warm material like wood & the numerous kind of bolts, nuts, ceramic conductors... Suddenly formed a harmonious contrast to my eye. I still can't ignore them but I do look at them differently.
