Artist's description:

I walk every day with my wife and two dogs along one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. I live on a small Island in Denmark called Moen, it's surrounded by the Baltic sea and is always changing depending on the weather and the time of the year. I often pick-up driftwood, specially if it has a fascinating shape, I look at it and think this is one of a kind where did this come from, how long has it been in the water. I had the idea of covering the driftwood in Brass Cold Cast and mounting it on lengths of twisted Brass wire that when the Driftwood is moved it gives the appearance of it boobing about in water.
The wire is attached to a Granite block to stabilize the sculpture.

Materials used:

Driftwoood, Brasswire, Brass Cold Cast, Granite Block, wire holders pvc.
