Dreaming of September is inspired by the muted and amazing colors and beauty of fall. I created Dreaming of September with the amazing changing colors and transitory nature of early fall in mind. I used some of those same colors and the raw emotion they inspired. Gold leaf with oil paint was the perfect way to capture the feel of the autumn sunlight reflecting off of newly golden leaves.

Circles are a powerful inspiration for me. In my work, they symbolize the dynamic and endlessly changing cycles of the self, the world, and life.

This original oil painting was created using only the highest quality professional grade oil paint, gold leaf, and natural non-toxic solvent to produce an archival work of art. The 1.5 inch gallery wrapped edges are painted so that no framing is needed. It is ready to hang.
