Artist's description:

A highly texturised life painting. I was experimenting with using linseed oil paste, building layers and playing with perspective. It became a monumental piece for me, after unifying my colour palette and overcoming my fear of building a heavily textured surface. I love how when you distance changes what you see in this painting; from far away, it is more of a narrative painting, a story between the figures emerges, but as you get closer, you're lost in the flow of colours caught in the built up areas of paint.

Materials used:

Oil paint, linseed oil paste, linseed oil, turpentine.
