Artist's description:

Dorothy was told to "Follow the Yellow Brick Road", and well, she did, for quite some time. Things got weird, her heels are killing her poor feet, and she's decided a change of plans is in order. Dorothy is going to hitch a ride to Wonderland, to see her friend Alice. She'll get to Oz, to see the wizard some other day.

I created this piece after seeing a photo of a hitch hiker, with a sign that said "Wonderland". I thought it'd be amusing to see Dorothy go to Wonderland, since her and Alice have had similar experiences in whimsical fantasy lands. I listened to Elton Johns "Yellow Brick Road", a bunch of his other songs, The Beatles Sgt. Pepper album and Breaking Benjamin's song Home, which I love the lyrics to. I also added some super fine ruby red glitter onto her shoes. Which is visible when the light hits it just right.
