Artist's description:

This painting is made through glazing multiple layers of transparent paint upon the previous fully dry layer. This means that light hitting the painting is refracted within the layers creating a dazzling glow effect. This is very difficult to reproduce photographically, but I feel the main gallery photo here shows the effect. As light is so important, the hanging position of this painting will affect the way the painting looks. And indeed the changing light throughout the day will also mean that this painting has many differing faces, which I think adds to its interest.

The piece is painted on artist grade canvas on a one inch stretcher, using Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of light-fastness and permanence. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The painting will be packaged as per best -practice guidelines (please see Me at Work to see how I will pack this painting)and be despatched by fully tracked and insured courier.

Thank you for taking the time to stop and look at this piece.
