I started the Painting a day project as a means of trying out new styles of painting, I had a backlog of photos I was itching to paint and decided to take the pressure off and paint small for a change. I had no idea how hard beginning and finishing a piece would be be but in all honesty what shocked me more is how much I would learn, each painting began so unsure of itself and then slowly but surely would come together before my eyes. Some of the days I had to start again because my first attempt was disasterous but it was comforting to know I could start again, it was okay if the first stamp, second or third didn't work, it would come together eventually.
I hope you love them as much as I loved painting them.
