Original artwork description:
This was a study for the painting "Dawn of The Hamadryad" in which I tried out ways of painting the tree branches. I was looking at the way Arthur Rackham drew them and tried pushing around transparent paint to create the textures. It has come out like something from Lord of The Rings.
