Original artwork description:

Multiple layers of delicate oil paint have been used to create this atmospheric artwork, inspired by the sight of mist at dawn in Richmond Park. I have become interested in exploring, through my paintings, how mist shifts to reveal and conceal, altering the atmosphere and ones perception of the landscape, thus creating a sense of mystery. Here the landscape has become almost abstract, as reality slips in and out of view. Sections of the surface have been left matt and some glossy, to suggest the interplay between revealed and concealed reality.

This artwork was created using Michael Harding Artists Oil Colours on linen board.
The painting is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
