Artist's description:

A self-help art therapy piece. The process of creating this layered and textured work, involved covering a board in acrylic ink and throwing on salt and rice to soak up the paint. The painting was created over several weeks, applying paint, rubbing off layers and reworking the piece. The act and motion of creating this work was vigorous and restless but the result is a moment of stillness within the chaos.

Materials used:

Oil paints, acrylic, acrylic inks, spray paint, salt
