Artist's description:

A few years ago My Husband and I got a small flock of day old chicks. The most adorable things next to kittens! We ended up naming them after our Aunties. Bernice the little brown Bantam, Edith the Lohman and Rosie the Rhode Island Red. We allowed them to free range in our back garden. In the evening they would try to stay out by hiding under the hedges or just a ways up in the trees. This piece is inspired by them wanting to stay out all nite like a group of young chicks.
