This mixed media painting is based on a floral theme. I have used strips of watercolor paper, some painted to create a collage. I have also included one of my favorite birds, a hummingbird. This painting evolved the more I worked on it. I would paint with one color and then need to change a previous color. I painted the collaged papers as I went along and added more paper in the process of the painting. I used watercolor and white acrylic in this composition. The painting was done on Aquabord panel that has a 1.5 inch cradle and is ready to hang as it is.
