'Daft Wee Autumn...' is an original watercolour study measuring 150mm x 80mm in size.
This work is delicately worked in subtle watercolour leaving the two cottages beautifully outlined in white in the midst of the warm ochre and brown autumnal sky. The tiny washing line sits beside the cottages, a sign that life goes on even when you want to curl up and hibernate in the chilly autumnal breeze.

Here in Scotland, we have lots of amazing landcapes with cottages framed by the wild sky. This painting depicts a simple landscape that celebrates what peace and simple isolation can mean in a beautiful world.
