Add a timeless heirloom to your collection of treasured possessions with this opportunity to commission a custom portrait.
There is just something about the decadent texture and brilliant luminosity of pure pigment suspended in lustrous oil that really brings the subject to life. Using these beautifully unique qualities, I create a stunning portrait that captures the likeness and spirit of your loved one.
About my materials:
When at the easel creating your masterpiece, I use professional grade Gamblin Oil Colors. (Hand Made in the U.S.A., Portland, Oregon to be exact.) and Rosemary & Co brushes, a family owned small business that makes artist brushes by hand in Great Britain. I enjoy painting on hard panels that I prime and sand several times to achieve an ultra smooth touch. These panels not only allow the crisp details of every feature to stand out, but they are incredibly resilient and out perform event the highest of quality stretched canvases over time. Rest assured, your painting is durable and will last for a very long time.

How long does it take to finish a painting?
• Short answer: 1-8 weeks
• The loooooooong answer: This depends greatly on the size of the painting. Smaller pieces will have a much shorter time to complete. This also depends on my current cue of paintings at the easel. If you are hoping to have a painting done for a specific date, send me a message real quick with the size you want, photos of your loved one, and the date you are shooting for, and I can let you know right away if we can make it work. :)
Can I get prints of the painting after you paint it?
Absolutely! I can provide you with beautiful prints on everything from Watercolor Paper and Canvas to metal and acrylic!
What happens if I don't like the painting?
I have never had a client be unhappy with their painting. But should you be my first, I will work closely with you to make the painting just what you had hoped.
