Give a graduation gift that your senior will cherish for a lifetime!
I'm a high school English teacher by day (23 years in the classroom!), and of course I have artwork on the walls at school. Through the course of the year, my students see me working on pieces and they always want me to make something for them...so, of course, I do. Shown here are several pieces that I made for our December 2015 graduates. The kids tell me their favorite color(s), and if they want a special design (such as the cat for Katie), then I try to accommodate their desires...otherwise, I create something whimsical with trees, water, sunbeams, mod doodles...whatever comes to mind at the moment....but the pieces always turn out great! I've had former students post pictures on Facebook of their pieces from years ago that they've had framed and proudly hung on their walls...so just a little design means the world to them. I'm glad to bring a smile and show them how proud I am of them.
I'll do the same for YOUR graduate. You can reference a design you see here, or just tell me to "go for it" and create something unique. Please let me know the student's name and the graduation year, as well as favorite colors (or school colors). Also, please allow approximately 3 weeks for creation and shipping.
Each piece is done on 9" x 12" watercolor paper using my fabulous Derwent Inktense watercolors and black ink...along with some gold glitter for added bling! (The girls love the sparkle!) The piece will come unframed in a sturdy mailer with cardboard backing for safe delivery via USPS priority mail with tracking. I ship from Houston, Texas. Yeee-haw!
