Guardian Angel Contemporary Fabric Sculpture
This Guardian Angel is one of my fabric sculptures,
She is made cotton fabric immersed in special fabric hardeners, which makes the fabric very strong and hard to the touch - yet surprisingly lightweight.
Her face is made from plaster so, this part of her is fragile.
I have mounted her onto a piece of slate.
Care: Washable in cold water, they can be swished about to remove dust and allowed to drip dry.
H: 19 on a base measuring 8"x 10"

fabric, fabric hardening resin, plaster, slate, mica powder paint, varnish
