Artwork description:
My first ever linocut I made that I was happy with. I created this when I was unwell and bed bound, on the day of the Brighton Marathon in April '2013 which I was very disappointed that I was unable to compete in. I decided that I wanted to turn that day into the day I created something I loved rather than the day I had to pull out of running the marathon.
Materials used:
Pencils, lino, Japanese woodcut tools, printmaking ink, durathene roller, relief press, Japanese paper
