Artwork description:
The original idea for this print came from a drawing I did at a life drawing class. I enjoy doing lots of figure drawing then turning my favourites into bigger images and prints.
This piece was first sketched out onto a piece of card, then using a combination of cutting and collage, different textures were made onto the plate. Ink was rubbed into the plate and run through a press to create a print.
Materials used:
oil based ink, 370gsm cartridge paper
