I let the painting take me where it would on this one. The photo that inspired it was somewhat romantic and melancholy. I added the puddles, struggling with their imagery. I used to think that the copper in the puddles was a reflection from the sky, but now I'm not so sure. Perhaps she is walking through molten possibilities.
