In this painting, female figures and bodies, attempting to arrange themselves into ideal geometric shapes by means of a decomposition of planes, forms and contours, transform the static nature of the subjects into a strong dynamism of visual as well as emotional impact.
In fact, it is precisely his stylised compositions that are an explicit attempt to 'ESCAPE FROM THE REAL' world, immersed in the most absolute staticity and perceived as a sequence of photograms that, through the most varied chromatic tones, seem to intend to offer us some connection to our world.
Fragments of stories from the world of oneiric dreams, in which it is difficult to distinguish between illusion and reality. Refined, mysterious images, immersed in surreal atmospheres. Two faces, same person, the dichotomy face/mask, we never show ourselves for what we are, we always have a part of us hidden, sometimes even from ourselves.
